Duck Stuff: Saturday Edition

■ The baseball team swept a double-header against WSU winning 2-1 and then 4-2 at PK Park yesterday.

On Deck: The Ducks and Cougars are scheduled to play the series finale Saturday at 2 p.m. with Kolby Somers (1-3, 3.16 ERA) getting the start for the Ducks. If weather forces a cancellation, the two teams will play game three on Sunday at noon.

■ Gwen Svekis smashed 2 homers as the #5 Ducks beat #9 Arizona 5-2 yesterday.

Up Next: Oregon and Arizona meet at noon on Saturday for the second game of the three-game series.

■ QB Justin Herbert received a pretty cool honor yesterday for his Academic All-American accomplishments.
