■ Oregon beat #3 Stanford 10-1 yesterday in baseball action.

On Deck: The Ducks and Cardinal resume the series with another 6 p.m. start today. Mercer (3-1, 2.43) will be on the hill for Oregon, facing Stanford junior lefty Kris Bubic (4-0, 1.19).

■ Oregon won the Civil War softball game 4-1 yesterday.

Ducks Stuff: Tuesday Edition

The lady Ducks fell to Notre Dame 84-74 in the Elite Eight last night to end their historic season.

Sabrina Ionescu was named a first team All-American while Ruthy Hebard claimed honorable mention honors, the Associated Press announced on Monday.

The baseball team lost to San Francisco 5-1 yesterday at PK Park.

On deck: Oregon hits the road for a three-game series at Stanford starting Thursday. First pitch is at 6:05 on Thursday and Friday and at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday. San Francisco will host Oregon next Monday at 3 p.m.

The lady Ducks make it to the Elite Eight again beating Central Michigan 83-69.

■ The Ducks won game one 8-5 before winning game two 7-2 to claim the Pac-12 Conference series against the Bears at PK Park yesterday.

On deck: Oregon and Cal will play the series finale today with first pitch set for 12 p.m. at PK Park. Kolby Somers (1-1, 3.86) will get the ball for the Ducks while the Bears will counter with Matt Ladrech (1-3, 5.70).

Ducks Stuff: Monday Edition

■ The ladies basketball team advanced to the Sweet Sixteen after an easy victory over Minnesota 101-73.

Coming up: The next team will be either Ohio State or Central Michigan, who meet Monday for the right to face Oregon in Spokane on Saturday. The winner will move on to the regional final, for a trip to the Final Four.


The softball team beat UCLA 3-0 after a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the seventh.

Up Next: The Ducks will take a break for final exams over the upcoming week, before going on the road in conference play for the first time this season with a three-game series at Oregon State beginning March 29.

The men fell in the NIT losing to Marquette 101-92.

ASU swept the baseball team 6-1 yesterday.

On Deck: Oregon will open the conference home slate with a three-game series against California beginning Friday at 6 p.m.

■ Oregon outlasted Washington St. 64-62 in OT at the Pac-12 Tournament.

Kenny Wooten blocked two shots in the final 20 seconds of overtime to help the Oregon men's basketball team survive a war of attrition Wednesday, 64-62 over Washington State in the opening round of the Pac-12 Tournament at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Up Next: The Ducks and Utah meet in the quarterfinals today (8:45 p.m., FS1). Utah won the only meeting between the two schools this season, 66-56 in the conference opener for both sides on Dec. 29.

The softball and baseball teams open homestands starting today.
