■ It has been an amazing 14 years since the creation of this blog but the time has come for me to end this experience. It was an amazing run for Duck football. Thanks to all the readers and especially DDubs for all the support. I will be archiving the site with no new posts.

Duck Stuff: Wednesday Edition

■ Gwen Svekis (softball) and Kyle Kasser (baseball) each were awarded the Tom Hansen Medal winners yesterday.

The Tom Hansen Medal is awarded annually to the top male and female seniors at each university in the conference. The award is based on achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership.

Oregon's bid to win their first WCWS title fell short in a 4-1 loss to Florida St. yesterday.

Duck Stuff: Saturday Edition

Oregon lost to the dawgs 6-2 yesterday at the WCWS.

Oregon (53-9) will play Saturday (6:30 p.m. PT, ESPN) against the winner of an elimination game between Georgia and Florida State earlier in the day.
